Dr. Sagnik Dutta specialises in political theory, political anthropology, critical socio-legal studies, and feminist and critical international relations. They hold a PhD in Politics and International Studies from the University of Cambridge. Dr. Dutta is dedicated to bringing the disciplines of political science and international relations in conversation with political and legal anthropology.

Dr. Shambhulinganand S. Shireshi is an Assistant Professor working in Symbiosis Law School, Pune since 2017. With the Ph.D. degree in 2005, he started his teaching career as a Guest Lecturer in the Department of Gandhian Studies, Karnatak University, Dharwad, and continued the same for 10 years. He has also worked as a Guest Lecturer and Guest researcher in the Department of Indology, University of Wurzburg, Germany during the summer semesters of 2007 & 2008.

Professor Sanyal holds an LLM in Human Rights, Conflict and Justice from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London on the Felix Scholarship. At Jindal she has been teaching Gender & Society and Family Law and is a Research Associate at the Centre for Women's Rights. Prior to joining JGLS, she worked at the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy. At Vidhi, she was also part of the Queering the Law project which looked at how Indian laws could be made LGBTQ+ inclusive. She has also worked at the Centre for Law and Policy Research in Bangalore as a Litigation and Research Associate where she litigated in the areas of transgender, women and disability rights.

Professor Chauhan is an Assistant Professor at the Jindal Global Law School. Soumya has earned her Masters in Law in ‘Intellectual Property and Policy Law’ from University of Washington School of Law, Seattle, and her B.A.LL.B. [Hons.] from University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University. Her work experience includes Trademark Prosecution and Transactions at Ascentialls Law Firm in New Delhi, Policy work relating to surveillance technology at the American Civil Liberties Union of Washington, and Art and Law intersecting practices at the Seattle Art Museum and Tasveer, a non-profit South Asian film organisation that organises the longest South Asian Film Festival in the USA.

Prior to joining JGU, she had worked with a think tank and subsequently taught in a college under University of Calcutta. Prama has presented her work in some National and International conferences. She has published a few papers in National and International Journals of repute.
